Welcome to the Finger Food Cafe, a family place where children and adults hearing and Deaf both belong, and where they learn that Deafness is one of God's "Silent blessings" to be enjoyed and appreciated.

Join Carlo, Mark, Pops and the rest of the gang as they decorate and rehearse for the upcoming Christmas program. Everything is going well until one of the deaf girls, 11-year-old Meghan (Selima Carlin), arrives at the cafe pursued by her hearing father, Jim (Joe Mathis).

Meghan is upset and frustrated with her father, whom she feels is inconsiderate of her needs and worse yet, doesn't know sign language. She has just learned that her father is taking the family to Colorado for Christmas vacation, but no one there is deaf, and she feels left out. Jim begins to understand his daughter�s frustrations when he speaks with Mark and sees Carlo and the kids signing with one another. Later, during a performance of the Christmas program, Jim gives his daughter a gift she�ll treasure forever. The story of the birth of Jesus is also portrayed in a unique shadow drama.
